CCF RaceFrame / Robar Alloy Xtreme – Metal-Framed Glock-22-Length, .40 S&W
Built when two respected niche makers teamed up, this Alloy Xtreme marries a CCF CNC-machined metal RaceFrame with Robar’s NP3-finished slide and barrel. The result is a full-size, striker-fired pistol that delivers the familiar Glock Gen-3 operating system in a rarer, stiffer, 1911-angled chassis—an appealing combination for shooters who favor a solid frame, collectors hunting scarce variants, or anyone who values Robar’s corrosion-resistant finishes.
Condition
Overall Good. The black alloy frame shows honest handling marks—light scuffs, scattered scratches, and minor edge wear. The satin-grey NP3 slide retains its uniform sheen with small freckles consistent with holster use. Mechanically sound; slide-to-frame fit is still tight thanks to the extended steel rail inserts. Bore condition is Excellent: mirror bright, sharp lands and grooves, no pitting or frosting.
What’s Included
• One Glock factory 15-round .40 S&W magazine bearing the “RESTRICTED LE/GOVT ONLY” 1994-ban era marking, outfitted with a flush +0 extension.
• Pistol is shipped as pictured; no additional accessories or case are supplied.
This particular pistol, serial CCF001452, represents a short-lived U.S. production run from the mid-2000s, completed before both CCF and Robar closed their doors. Highlights that set it apart:
• Metal RaceFrame construction: investment-cast alloy with CNC final machining, de-horned edges, 25 lpi front-strap checkering, integral magwell funnel, and an interchangeable back-strap that yields a true 17° 1911 grip angle.
• Extended internal steel rails—approximately five times the bearing surface of the OEM polymer interface—promote smoother cycling and long-term durability.
• Robar NP3 slide, barrel, and internals: a nickel-PTFE matrix that offers low friction, easy cleaning, and a subdued satin-grey tone.
• 4.5" 4140 barrel, NP3 coated inside and out, aiding the superb bore condition you see today.
• Slide features front and rear cocking serrations for positive purchase, plus drift-adjustable two-dot rear and a high-visibility green fiber-optic front sight. Factory accessory rail sits forward of the trigger guard.
• Glock-pattern trigger safety and striker-fired action remain untouched, giving a crisper break than stock but full parts compatibility with Gen-3 components.
• Two-tone aesthetic—grey over black—that stands out at the range without shouting.
• Classified as both rare and collectible; high-value specimens like this seldom surface, especially in functional, ready-to-shoot shape.
If you’ve been looking for a metal-framed Glock variant with proven engineering and legitimate scarcity, this Alloy Xtreme makes a compelling case.
