It’s legal to sell a gun on consignment if the consignment process abides by all relevant laws – which ours does.
We accept nearly all types of guns for consignment, such as handguns, rifles, and shotguns. We’ve sold gun consignments with antique guns, collectibles, modern firearms, NFA guns, and more. Whether it’s a Remington 1100 or a Marlin 336, we can sell it for you.
We provide prepaid shipping labels that you can use to send your firearms to us. When a consigned gun sells, we handle shipping to the buyer and factor in that cost in the final price. We pay for all costs up-front, from shipping to auction fees, and these are subtracted from the total sales price after your gun sells. Our consignment agreement breaks it down for you.
Our gun consignment process usually takes about 14 days for the online auction. After that, we process your payment within 24 hours of the buyer’s payment getting cleared.
We use a no-reserve penny auction format that has guaranteed sales for every one of our consignments since we began. That being said, in the rare event that a bidder doesn’t pay or cancels the purchase, we give you options. You can relist the item to sell in another auction. Second, you can sell it to us for a cash offer.
We can consign any gun with a minimum consignment fee of just $100. So, even if your gun isn’t in the best condition, you may still be able to consign it with us.
Our consignment program is currently available only for firearms inside the United States. Our process is also designed for the US laws, whether federal or local.
While we pay for the cost of the shipping label, we don’t cover packing supplies. However, you can ask us to send you packing supplies at the cost we pay. We find that most of our clients prefer to source their packing supplies themselves.
