This Belgian-made Auto-5 Light Twelve was manufactured in 1956, the first year Browning used the “G” prefix for this model. It features the lightweight receiver and barrel ring unique to Light Twelve guns, factory scroll engraving, and a gold-plated trigger. A Poly-Choke adjustable muzzle device and a Pachmayr White-Line recoil pad with spacer have been professionally installed, giving the shotgun added versatility and a longer 15-inch length of pull.

What’s Included
- Browning Auto-5 Light Twelve 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun as described
The long-recoil Auto-5 action cycles 2 3⁄4-inch 12 gauge shells smoothly, feeding from a 4+1 capacity tubular magazine. The classic “hump-back” receiver profile offers an unmistakable Browning look while housing the robust FN-built mechanism.
The Poly-Choke adjustable muzzle device is installed on the plain 23.5-inch blued barrel, which carries a matted rib and a single bead front sight just behind the Poly-Choke.
Lightweight machining on the receiver and barrel ring reduces overall weight, true to the Light Twelve concept. Browning’s standard Grade 1 post-war single-scroll engraving decorates the receiver sides, adding understated elegance without extra cost in weight.
An aftermarket Pachmayr White-Line ventilated recoil pad with spacer extends the length of pull to 15 inches and softens felt recoil. Fine 18-lpi checkering on the round-knob walnut stock and lightning-cut forend ensures a secure grip while preserving the gun’s period-correct styling.
