Built at Springfield Armory in 1952, this CMP-documented Service Grade M1 Garand comes from the 4.35-million serial block produced just after the Korean War. The rifle carries its original parkerized receiver, fresh CMP-installed barrel, and crisp walnut furniture, giving buyers a ready-to-shoot example of the final U.S. arsenal run before the transition to the M14.

The CMP rebuild features a new 24-inch ordnance-steel barrel chambered in .30-06, preserving the rifle’s legendary accuracy and reliability while ensuring a bright, serviceable bore.
Oil-finished walnut stock and handguards match evenly, showing a faint boxed CMP cartouche and retaining the original checkered steel buttplate with cleaning-kit trap. Stacking and sling swivels remain in place for field or match use.
The long-stroke gas system, bayonet-equipped gas cylinder, and auto-ejecting en-bloc clip maintain the M1’s iconic handling. T-105 aperture rear and wing-protected front sights provide precise, battle-proven sighting.
