What’s Included
- Owner’s manual
Ruger assigned serial prefix 68- to this Single-Six, dating its production to 1981 at the Southport, Connecticut factory. This era is known for the updated New Model transfer-bar system, allowing safe carry with all six chambers loaded.
The revolver features a six-shot, fluted alloy-steel cylinder chambered exclusively for .22 LR. No auxiliary .22 WMR cylinder is included, keeping the package focused on rimfire plinking and target work.
A 6.5 inch alloy-steel barrel delivers solid velocity and a generous sight radius. The pinned, ramped front blade pairs with a fully adjustable square-notch rear sight for precise elevation and windage changes.
The XR-3 Red grip-frame profile, black-anodized aluminum grip frame, and smooth walnut panels with Ruger eagle medallions provide a comfortable hold and the classic Single-Six look. An exposed spur hammer and loading-gate interlock retain the traditional single-action manual of arms.
