What’s Included
- Kokura Arsenal Type 14 Nambu pistol
- One factory 8-round steel magazine with serrated aluminum base
This early small-trigger-guard variant was produced only during the first years of Type 14 manufacture, giving it added collector interest.
The pistol was built in a transitional Kokura production block noted for precise machining and tight tolerances, and it bears the stacked-cannonball arsenal logo, Showa date marking, and inspector kana.
A rust-blue finish covers the carbon-steel frame, slide, and 4.61-inch barrel, while two-piece hardwood grips with fine horizontal serrations remain original to the gun.
Mechanical features include a single-action striker-fired, short-recoil locked-breech action, a knurled rear cocking knob, heel-style magazine release, and a manual safety lever—all correct for this period specimen.
Fixed blade front and V-notch rear sights provide the standard sight picture expected on an early-1930s Type 14.
