The BACR’s 10.5-inch barrel is hammer forged from 4150 CMV steel, nitrided for durability, and threaded 1/2-28. It installs and removes tool-free, letting you convert calibers or swap lengths in minutes.
A short-stroke gas piston with a two-position regulator keeps the action clean and reliable, whether you run the included AAC 3-prong flash hider alone or add a 51T-mount suppressor.
Ambidextrous magazine release, selector, and a non-reciprocating side charging handle that can be switched left or right give equal control to both-handed shooters. The serialized upper receiver is classified multi-caliber, adding future flexibility.
The free-float AAC SquareDrop aluminum handguard accepts KeyMod and proprietary accessories while maintaining a slim profile. Integrated top rail space leaves plenty of room for optics in addition to the flip-up BUIS.
Limited availability, full ambi ergonomics, and true pistol status—all backed by Bushmaster’s U.S. manufacturing—make this BACR a compelling piece for enthusiasts who appreciate the evolution of the ACR platform.
