Smith & Wesson M&P 380 Shield EZ M2.0 No-Thumb-Safety .380 ACP Semi-Automatic Pistol – Early-Run Serial, 3.675" Barrel, 8+1 Rounds
The M&P 380 Shield EZ M2.0 pairs Smith & Wesson’s easy-to-rack slide system with an internal-hammer, single-action trigger for reliable, low-effort shooting. This no-thumb-safety variant keeps controls simple while still providing a grip safety and firing-pin block. An early serial number (NCK0032) places this pistol in the initial production run, adding collector appeal to an already practical defensive sidearm.

What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson factory cardboard pistol box
- Two 8-round stainless magazines with red load-assist followers
- Smith & Wesson M&P 380 Shield EZ owner’s manual
This Shield EZ uses a reduced-rate recoil spring and load-assist magazine followers, making slide manipulation and magazine charging noticeably easier than on most centerfire pistols—an advantage for new shooters or anyone with limited hand strength.
The M2.0-series frame features aggressive grip texturing, an extended beavertail, and interchangeable backstraps for a secure, natural point of aim. Front and rear slide serrations further aid press checks and charging.
Despite the absence of a manual thumb safety, the pistol maintains robust passive protections: a grip safety, an internal firing-pin block, and a tactile loaded-chamber indicator port.
The stainless steel 3.675" barrel wears Smith & Wesson’s matte black Armornite finish to match the slide, providing corrosion resistance while maintaining a low-glare profile. A MIL-STD-1913 three-slot rail accepts compact lights or lasers without added adapters.
This example’s early serial number links it to the Shield EZ’s first production batch—an appealing detail for collectors who value first-run status alongside functional performance.
