Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight Ducks Unlimited 40th-Anniversary Commemorative 12 Gauge Pump Shotgun
Built in 1977 to honor Ducks Unlimited’s first four decades, this limited-production Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight Trade Model combines proven field reliability with distinctive factory engraving. Approximately 4,000 were made, and the serial range confirms its commemorative status. Forged-steel construction, a Roto-Forged 30-inch vent-rib barrel, and the Model 37’s signature bottom-eject design set this shotgun apart for both collectors and hunters.

What’s Included
- Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight Ducks Unlimited 40th-Anniversary Commemorative 12 Gauge shotgun
This Trade Model wears factory scroll engraving on both sides of its blued receiver. The left panel shows a bold “40” above the Ducks Unlimited crest surrounded by flying ducks and cattails, while the right panel reads “1937 Four Decades of Conservation Pioneering 1977.” All engraving is original and done at the factory.
The 30-inch Roto-Forged barrel is equipped with a vent rib for quick sight alignment and a brass front bead. Chambered for 2 ¾-inch shells and fitted with a fixed full choke, it offers versatile performance for waterfowl and upland game.
Ithaca’s bottom-eject system sends spent hulls straight down, keeping the shooter’s line of sight clear and making the gun naturally ambidextrous. The design also helps keep debris out of the action, a practical feature in marsh or field conditions.
A gloss-finished walnut stock with pressed checkering and a field-grade ring-tail fore-end provides a classic look and secure grip. The 14-inch length of pull and factory recoil pad deliver comfortable shouldering.
As one of the last Ithaca commemoratives produced before the company’s 1980 bankruptcy, this Ducks Unlimited 40th-Anniversary edition represents a notable chapter in both conservation and firearms history.
