Winchester Model 67A Junior .22 S/L/LR Bolt-Action Youth Rifle – Scarce 20" Variant
The Winchester Model 67A Junior is the hard-to-find youth version of Winchester’s classic single-shot rimfire. Built in the United States before serial numbers were required, fewer than 10,000 Junior rifles were made out of more than 650,000 total Model 67s. This example pairs a 20 inch barrel with a 12.5 inch length of pull walnut stock, creating a compact, easy-handling rifle that still delivers Winchester’s proven accuracy. Collectors value the Junior for its scarcity, pre-1968 production, and manually cocked bolt-on-closing design.

What's Included
- Winchester Model 67A Junior rifle
Winchester introduced the Junior variant to give younger shooters a quality rimfire with a shorter stock and lighter overall feel. The 12.5 inch length of pull makes it easier for smaller framed users to shoulder the rifle comfortably without altering the classic Model 67 profile.
The 20 inch carbon-steel barrel is shorter than the standard Model 67A tube, balancing the rifle while preserving velocity for .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle cartridges. Both barrel and receiver wear a traditional Winchester blued finish.
This model retains Winchester’s simple, reliable bolt-action that is manually cocked when the bolt closes. The design promotes deliberate shooting and is valued for its straightforward operation and easy maintenance.
Open sights include a blade front and an elevation-adjustable rear, giving the shooter precise control over point of impact without adding weight or complexity.
Because it was manufactured before 1968, this rifle was never marked with a serial number, a detail that collectors often seek out. Combined with its low production numbers, the Junior variant stands apart from more common Model 67 configurations.
