What’s Included
- Ruger M77 Mark II Standard bolt-action rifle (.270 Win)
Ruger introduced the Mark II in the early 1990s, updating the original M77 with a controlled-round-feed bolt featuring a full-length claw extractor. This design guides each cartridge smoothly from the magazine to the chamber and maintains reliable extraction under field conditions.
The 22-inch alloy-steel barrel is hammer-forged at the Ruger factory and finished with a recessed crowned muzzle to protect the rifling. A six-groove, 1:10 twist stabilizes a wide range of .270 Winchester bullet weights.
Integral Ruger scope bases are machined directly into the receiver, eliminating the need for separate bases and preserving alignment. While the rifle ships without sights, the built-in mounts make optic installation straightforward.
The straight-comb American walnut stock offers crisp cut checkering for a secure grip, a rubber recoil pad to soften felt recoil, and sling-swivel studs for easy carry in the field. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, providing a comfortable fit for most shooters.
A hinged floorplate internal box magazine holds four rounds plus one in the chamber. The polished stainless bolt body cycles smoothly, and the three-position wing safety allows loading and unloading with the safety engaged.
