What’s Included
- 1× 7-round factory Springfield Armory XD-S .45 ACP magazine with polymer X-Tension sleeve
The 3.3-inch hammer-forged barrel is treated with Springfield’s Melonite process, providing a hard, corrosion-resistant surface that holds up well to regular carry and cleaning.
A red fiber-optic front sight teams with a steel dovetailed rear sight to deliver a bright, easy-to-see sight picture in varied lighting. Both sights are drift-adjustable for windage.
Safety is built into the design with a grip safety, trigger safety lever, internal striker block, loaded-chamber indicator, and a visual/tactile striker-status indicator. These passive safeties add layers of protection without complicating the manual of arms.
The polymer frame’s square-lattice texture and interchangeable backstrap system allow shooters to tailor grip feel while maintaining control during .45 ACP recoil. A push-button magazine release and rear slide serrations support efficient reloads and manipulation.
This pistol belongs to the original XD-S series introduced in 2012—one of the first true micro .45 ACP handguns on the market. Early models like this one were subject to Springfield’s 2013 disconnector recall; verify completion if desired.
