What’s Included
- CVA RV600 factory cardboard box
- Owner's manual
The RV600 follows the original 1851 Navy profile with a 7.5-inch blued carbon-steel octagonal barrel, single-action lockwork, and fixed sights composed of a brass bead front and hammer-notch rear. Safety pins between the nipples let the hammer rest safely when carried loaded.
Its brass frame, trigger guard, and backstrap deliver the era-correct “Rebel Navy” brass appearance while reducing overall weight. A one-piece varnished walnut grip fills the hand and maintains period styling.
The six-shot carbon-steel cylinder features an Ormsby-style naval-battle roll engraving, matching historical examples and adding visual authenticity. Italian Gardone proof-house stamps and “PN” black-powder proofs confirm compliant black-powder construction, while the serial number prefix E150xx dates this revolver to early 1990s ASM production.
Connecticut Valley Arms import markings and an inset CVA medallion verify U.S. distribution, making parts, documentation, and accessories easy to source. Popular with reenactors and North-South Skirmish Association shooters, this RV600 offers reliable shooting characteristics with the look and feel of a 19th-century sidearm.
