    What’s Included

    • Original Stevens Favorite Model 71 cardboard presentation box with molded pulp tray
    • Stevens Favorite Model 71 owner’s manual
    • Factory literature packet (Hunting & Shooting Sportsmanship booklet, commemorative leaflets, and packer card)

This Centennial Commemorative is a faithful reproduction of the beloved Stevens Favorite single-shot rimfire, complete with an octagon 22-inch carbon-steel barrel and a trim 13-inch length of pull. The falling-block action locks solidly, reflecting the simplicity and reliability that made the original rifle a favorite at the turn of the century.

The steel receiver wears vivid bone-charcoal color case hardening, highlighted by gold-filled “Stevens Favorite” script on the left side. A gold-plated hammer and lever, plus a brass crescent buttplate, add visual contrast and underscore the commemorative’s limited-edition status.

Weighing roughly 4.25 pounds, the rifle handles easily from bench or field positions. A straight-grip walnut stock with schnabel-tip forend gives it classic lines, while a brass Joshua Stevens medallion inset in the buttstock marks the centennial milestone.

Factory iron sights include a dovetail brass-blade front and buckhorn rear with stepped elevator. The barrel is drilled and tapped for an optional receiver peep sight, allowing precise aperture sighting without altering the rifle’s vintage profile.

Production totals are estimated between 1,000 and 10,000 units, making this U.S.-made commemorative a scarce find for rimfire enthusiasts and Savage-Stevens collectors alike.
