Ruger P95DC 9mm Two-Tone DA/SA Pistol – 3.9 in Stainless Barrel, 10+1, 2001 Production
The KP95DC is Ruger’s first polymer-framed centerfire handgun and this 2001 example pairs a stainless Terhune Anticorro slide with a black glass-filled nylon frame. The decocker-only action, ambidextrous magazine release, and fixed 3-dot sights make it a simple, duty-ready sidearm, while the robust build is the same design that completed U.S. Army TACOM durability trials. Shipped during the 1994–2004 AWB period, it comes with two factory 10-round magazines and remains in very good condition.

What’s Included
- Ruger KP95DC pistol
- 2 steel 10-round magazines marked “9 MM” with witness holes
- Black nylon clip-on holster with metal belt clip and snap retention strap
This KP95DC variant deletes a manual safety in favor of a streamlined decocker, giving the shooter a straightforward double-action/single-action trigger pull. An exposed hammer allows visual and tactile confirmation of cocked status.
The 3.9-inch stainless barrel uses a 1:10 right-hand twist to stabilize the full range of 9mm loads, while the stainless slide includes rear cocking serrations for reliable manipulation even with gloves.
Ruger molded the frame from Isoplast glass-filled nylon, producing a rigid yet lightweight platform that resists solvents and hard use. The pre-rail grip frame maintains the original P95 profile without accessory rail bulk.
Fixed 3-dot sights—pinned blade front and drift-dovetailed rear—offer a clear sight picture and retain zero under recoil. The ambidextrous magazine release supports left- or right-hand use without modification.
Manufactured in 2001 at Ruger’s Prescott, Arizona facility, this pistol reflects the company’s early commitment to durable polymer service pistols and remains a reliable, budget-friendly option for range or defensive carry.
