This IC-DI uses an intermediate-length gas system to soften recoil impulse and improve reliability across ammunition types. The 16" CrMoV steel barrel is cold-hammer-forged for strength, NiCorr-treated for corrosion resistance, and spiral-fluted to shed weight while aiding heat dissipation. Standard 1/2-28 threads let you add muzzle devices without extra gunsmithing.
The monoforged upper carries a full-length Picatinny rail, seamlessly matching the LWRCI free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard for uninterrupted optics and accessory mounting. Inside, a nickel-boron-coated, keyless bolt-carrier group reduces friction and simplifies cleaning.
Controls are fully ambidextrous: magazine catch, bolt release, and safety selector are mirrored on both sides. A six-position collapsible stock and LWRCI Ultra Combat textured grip provide adaptable ergonomics, and the rifle’s 6.7-pound unloaded weight keeps handling quick.
Compliance is handled by a factory fixed-magazine device that releases the magazine only when the rear takedown pin is partially withdrawn. Depressing the pin disengages the lock, letting you remove the mag while staying within California, New York, and New Jersey regulations.
