What’s Included
- Remington Model 514 single-shot rifle
The Model 514 is a full-size bolt gun built on a tubular carbon-steel receiver, a cost-effective design that kept weight down while maintaining strength. Its 24" carbon-steel barrel provides solid velocity and accuracy potential, complemented by factory iron sights consisting of a blade front on a ramp and a drift-adjustable rear leaf with elevator.
This example retains its original blued finish over both barrel and receiver, paired with an oil-finished hardwood stock featuring a fluted comb and pistol-grip profile. The stock remains uncheckered, consistent with standard production, and measures a 13.5" length of pull.
A two-position bolt safety offers straightforward operation. Because it predates the 1968 serialization mandate, the rifle is exempt from a serial number marking, an authentic detail valued by rimfire historians and collectors alike.
