Walther PPK .380 ACP | 1966 West German Pre-Ban, High-Polish Blue, Matching Numbers
Produced in 1966 at Walther’s Ulm factory, this pre-1968 import-ban PPK pairs the desirable .380 ACP chambering with a high-luster blued finish and fully matching slide, frame, and barrel numbers. German eagle/N and Ulm antler proofs confirm commercial West German origin, while the compact steel frame, DA/SA trigger, and loaded-chamber indicator retain the classic features that made the PPK an icon.

What’s Included
- Walther PPK .380 ACP pistol
- Two 7-round single-stack magazines – one with brown finger-rest extension, one flat-base
- Nylon dual magazine pouch with hook-and-loop closures
This German-made PPK predates the 1968 Gun Control Act, making it import-legal today while retaining the pre-ban production qualities collectors look for. The .380 ACP chambering is less common than the .32 ACP found on most German examples, offering extra power without altering the classic blowback design.
Both slide and frame wear a deep, high-polish blue that highlights Walther’s post-war machining and the vertical rear serrations. The top rib is longitudinally serrated to cut glare, and proof marks remain crisp.
The compact carbon-steel frame houses a DA/SA trigger system, manual safety/decocker, firing-pin safety, and the hallmark loaded-chamber indicator pin. An exposed ring hammer with a serrated spur provides positive thumb purchase.
Brown checkered plastic grips with inlaid Walther banners complete the factory look, complemented by matching brown magazine finger-rest. A lanyard loop recess at the butt remains intact.
