Watchtower Apache Compensated 1911 9 mm Optics-Ready Pistol – Full-Size, 17+1 Rounds
Built by veteran-owned Watchtower in the United States, the Apache Compensated 1911 blends traditional single-action performance with modern engineering. An integral single-port compensator, RMR-pattern optic cut, and carbon-fiber/kevlar reinforced grip module give this full-size 9 mm notable recoil control, fast sight acquisition, and reduced weight. A dual-tone Graphite and Copper PVD finish completes a striking, duty-ready package.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent – Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear. Rifling is sharp with well-defined lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The integral compensator shows light carbon buildup, and the flared magwell has minor handling marks; otherwise, the finish remains crisp with minimal evidence of prior firing.
What’s Included
- Watchtower-branded soft pistol case
- One 17-round stainless steel magazine with witness holes
- Factory paperwork sealed in plastic bag
The Apache’s 416R stainless steel barrel measures 4.6 inches and is both threaded and compensated, delivering flatter shooting and compatibility with suppressor devices. A 1:16 twist optimizes spin for common 9 mm projectile weights.
The tri-top slide features machining windows that trim reciprocating mass, front and rear cocking serrations for sure grip, and a Trijicon RMR footprint optic cut. A green fiber-optic front sight pairs with the plate-mounted rear for clear, quick alignment right out of the box.
Watchtower’s proprietary grip module combines carbon-fiber, kevlar, and glass-fiber for strength without adding bulk. An integrated flared magwell speeds reloads, while an ambidextrous mag release and thumb safety accommodate either hand.
The flat-faced, skeletonized trigger is user-adjustable for a clean break. Internally, the forged 4140 stainless frame and DLC-coated fire-control components help ensure longevity in high-round-count use.
