What’s Included
- Marlin Glenfield Model 60 .22 LR semi-automatic rifle with integral 15-round tube magazine
Produced in North Haven, Connecticut, this rifle carries a 1977 serial prefix that places it before Marlin added the automatic bolt hold-open lever in the mid-1980s. That detail, along with Glenfield roll-marks, helps pinpoint its place in Model 60 evolution.
The 22-inch carbon-steel barrel uses Marlin’s Micro-Groove rifling—multiple shallow grooves that increase bearing surface for the bullet and are known for enhancing rimfire accuracy. The bore remains clean with crisp rifling, ready for target or small-game duty.
A walnut-tone birch stock gives the gun a warm, traditional appearance. Pressed checkering and a Monte-Carlo comb provide a secure grip and comfortable cheek weld without adding weight.
Factory sights include a ramped, serrated front blade and an elevator-adjustable folding leaf rear. The receiver is grooved for tip-off scope mounts, so adding optics is straightforward if desired.
With its 15-round capacity, right-side charging-handle, and blowback action, this Model 60 maintains the dependable function that has kept the design in production for decades—all in an early configuration that many shooters and collectors now seek.
