What’s Included
- Winchester Model 94AE Saddle Ring Carbine .357 Magnum lever-action rifle
- Factory saddle ring
- Factory iron sights (dovetailed blade front, semi-buckhorn elevator rear)
- Angle-Eject receiver with scope mount provision
Winchester’s Angle-Eject design routes spent cases away from the top of the receiver, so a scope can sit directly over the bore. This factory feature increases accuracy potential without compromising the rifle’s traditional profile.
The 20-inch round barrel is cut from Winchester proof steel and rifled at a 1:18.75" twist—ideal for the full range of .357 Magnum and .38 Special bullet weights. Seven rounds ride in the full-length tubular magazine, giving an 8-shot total when topped off.
Forged-steel receiver, blued finish, and straight-grip walnut stock deliver the durability and handling balance Winchester lever guns are known for. The 13.5" length of pull fits most shooters comfortably, while the saddle ring on the left side keeps the carbine’s Old West heritage intact.
Safety features include a cross-bolt safety and a half-cock hammer notch, offering both modern and traditional layers of security. Combined with the Angle-Eject system, this makes the 94AE one of Winchester’s most user-friendly lever actions.
Produced circa 1998–1999 in New Haven, Connecticut, this example represents the final era of U.S.-made Winchester lever rifles, enhancing its appeal to collectors who want a modern-functioning carbine with authentic lineage.
