Remington designed the Model 541T around the proven rear-locking bolt geometry borrowed from its 40X target rifles, giving this rimfire dependable lock-up and smooth cycling.
The 24-inch carbon-steel barrel carries a recessed crown to protect the rifling and is left unthreaded for a clean, traditional profile. Its 1:16" right-hand twist stabilizes .22 LR, .22 Long, and .22 Short cartridges, providing flexible ammunition choices.
Factory micro-groove rifling and an adjustable match trigger (2–5 lb range) work together to deliver the precision needed for small-game hunting or benchrest practice. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and with rings and bases already in place, mounting a preferred optic is straightforward.
The satin-finished walnut stock features crisp checkering, a black forend tip, mirroring the look of Remington’s centerfire BDL line. A 13.5-inch length of pull suits most adult shooters while keeping the rifle’s handling balanced and comfortable.
Collectors will note the barrel date code “BQ,” confirming January 1998 production, and appreciate the model’s limited-production status in the broader Remington rimfire lineage.
