Ruger LC9s 9mm Compact Semi-Auto Pistol, 3.12” Barrel, Talon Grip, 2015 Production
This Prescott, Arizona–made Ruger LC9s pairs striker-fired simplicity with a slim, 17.2-ounce profile that conceals easily yet carries a full 7+1 rounds of 9mm Luger. The 2015-dated pistol retains Ruger’s through-hardened alloy-steel slide and barrel, glass-filled nylon frame, and a recessed-crown 3.12-inch barrel. An installed Talon granulate wrap-around grip overlay adds extra traction without bulk, giving this discontinued LC9s a notable upgrade for everyday carry or collection.

What’s Included
- Ruger LC9s 9mm pistol
- Talon granulate wrap-around grip overlay (installed)
- One 7-round Ruger factory magazine with finger-extension floorplate
The LC9s uses a striker-fired action for a short, crisp trigger pull, aided by Ruger’s two-piece trigger with an integrated blade safety. A manual thumb safety, magazine disconnect, and loaded-chamber inspection port provide multiple layers of mechanical security.
Through-hardened alloy steel is finished in matte black oxide for both slide and barrel, delivering corrosion resistance while preserving the pistol’s low-profile appearance. Rear cocking serrations offer positive purchase when racking the slide.
The compact glass-filled nylon frame keeps weight to just over one pound unloaded. Ruger’s standard 3-dot sights consist of a pinned white-dot front and a drift-adjustable white-outline rear, giving a clear, familiar sight picture.
This LC9s remains compatible with holsters, magazines, and accessories built for the LC9 line. Since Ruger has discontinued the LC9s in favor of the EC9s, examples in this condition—and with practical upgrades like the Talon grip—are increasingly harder to find.
