The rifle is missing its handguard. The charging handle is loose. Metal surfaces show widespread scratches, blemishes, rust, and pitting. The stock has been repaired and modified with a different wood type and an aftermarket laminated-wood spacer that extends the length of pull to 14.5 inches.

Original open sights remain in place: a dovetail-mounted rear sight with elevator and a ramp front blade; the front hood is absent. Impressed checkering on the straight-comb hardwood stock aids grip, and the aftermarket spacer brings the length of pull to 14.5".
