The R-101 revision was produced from 1956 to 1960, with approximately 159,000 units leaving the factory. Its nine-shot capacity in a compact alloy frame was advanced for the time, offering shooters more firepower without added weight.
This model uses a unique front-pull ejector-rod release, eliminating the traditional side-frame latch and allowing quick, intuitive cylinder operation. Six longitudinal rib cuts on the top strap help reduce glare when lining up the fixed iron sights.
The 6" carbon-steel barrel, paired with a blued nine-shot cylinder, balances well on the anodized alloy frame. The revolver is chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle, adding versatility for a variety of rimfire loads.
Aftermarket white synthetic stag-style grips provide a custom appearance and stand in contrast to the factory plastic panels, making this piece visually distinctive for collectors and shooters alike.
