Ruger New Model Single-Six .22 LR Revolver, 6.5" Barrel, 1982 Production, Scope-Ready
Built in 1982, this Ruger New Model Single-Six pairs classic single-action operation with a factory-polished blue finish and a six-shot .22 LR fluted cylinder. A Buehler Orinda, CA top-strap scope base with 1" rings is already installed, giving the revolver a clean, ready-to-glass setup without permanent alteration. Its 6.5" alloy-steel barrel and investment-cast frame deliver the durability Ruger revolvers are known for, while the transfer-bar safety allows safe six-round carry.

- Buehler Orinda, CA top-strap scope base with two 1" rings (installed)
Manufactured two years before Ruger introduced stainless Single-Six variants, this early-1980s example retains the original polished blue/black finish on its alloy-steel frame and cylinder, with an aluminum alloy grip frame for balanced handling.
The revolver is currently fitted with its .22 LR cylinder; the optional .22 WMR cylinder originally supplied with convertible models is not present. The six-shot fluted cylinder locks up solidly and shows minimal turn-line wear.
Ruger’s transfer-bar safety system and loading-gate interlock provide modern safety features while preserving the traditional exposed-hammer, single-action feel. The pinned ramp front sight remains in place, and the factory adjustable rear sight was carefully removed to accommodate the Buehler scope mount.
With its scope-ready top-strap, clean bore, and classic 6.5" barrel length, this Single-Six offers a versatile platform for precise rimfire shooting, hunting small game, or collecting an early blued New Model example.
