1939 Tula Mosin-Nagant 1891/30 PU Sniper 7.62x54R Bolt-Action Rifle with Reproduction 3.5x Scope
Built at the Tula Arsenal in 1939, this 1891/30 PU Sniper rifle represents the scarce pre-war production run that saw fewer sniper conversions than later Izhevsk models. It retains matching serial numbers on the bolt, magazine floorplate, trigger guard, and butt-plate, and carries a properly side-mounted PU scope setup. An arsenal refurbishment returned the rifle to service standards while preserving its classic hardwood stock, blued steel finish, and World War II lineage.

This rifle features the classic round receiver and side-rail marked ДП-5281, a correct detail for Tula PU builds. The installed scope wears Soviet hammer-and-sickle markings and its own serial number, complementing the rifle’s sniper configuration while remaining easily removed for iron-sight use.
The hardwood finger-groove stock retains its arsenal shellac, pairing with a matching handguard for authentic wartime appearance. A full 28.75-inch barrel delivers traditional Mosin accuracy, aided by a 1:9.5-inch twist and intact tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters.
PW ARMS Redmond WA importer markings are discreetly stamped, confirming lawful import while leaving the original Tula marks clear. With its matching numbers, WWII provenance, and ready-to-shoot condition, this rifle offers both historical value and practical range potential.
