FEG PA-63 9x18mm Makarov Two-Tone Compact DA/SA Pistol – Hungarian Cold War Service Handgun
The FEG PA-63 is a Hungarian military and police sidearm derived from the Walther PP and adopted in 1963. This compact, alloy-frame pistol combines a lightweight 21-ounce build with the reliable 9x18mm Makarov cartridge and a DA/SA blowback system. Its two-tone look—blued steel slide over a natural anodized frame—gives it a distinctive appearance that stands out among surplus imports.

What’s Included
- Soft zippered case
- 1× 7-round factory FÉG steel magazine with alloy finger-rest baseplate
Designed during the Cold War, the PA-63 blends German engineering lineage with Hungarian manufacture. Its straight-blowback action and alloy frame keep the design simple, durable, and easy to maintain.
The aluminum-alloy frame shaves weight without sacrificing strength, while the blued carbon-steel slide provides long-term wear resistance. Rear vertical serrations aid slide manipulation, and an anti-glare rib helps keep the sight picture clear.
Controls are familiar: a slide-mounted safety/decocker, heel magazine release, and exposed ring hammer. The double-action/single-action trigger offers a long initial pull followed by a crisp single-action break.
Fixed sights—an integral front blade and drift-adjustable rear notch—provide a straightforward sighting system. Safety is enhanced by an inertial firing pin and half-cock notch.
Imported to the United States by KBI of Harrisburg, this PA-63 carries Hungarian proof marks and the KBI import stamp, reflecting its authentic service heritage and collectability.
