What’s Included
- Auto-Ordnance Model 1911A1 U.S. Army pistol
- One 7-round GI-pattern steel magazine with circular witness holes
Produced in the early 1980s, this pistol carries the “E” serial prefix associated with West Hurley Auto-Ordnance builds that pre-date Kahr Arms ownership. Many collectors value these examples for their role in reviving commercial 1911 production before the platform’s modern resurgence.
The carbon-steel slide and frame wear a uniform matte Parkerized finish that resists glare and echoes wartime originals. Rear vertical serrations provide a positive grip for cycling the action, while fixed GI-type sights retain the period-correct square-notch rear and blade front arrangement.
