1976 Radom P-64 9x18mm Makarov Compact DA/SA Pistol – Polish Forged Steel, Aftermarket Kevlar Grips
Built in 1976, this Radom P-64 is one of the last production examples of Poland’s service pistol line before manufacturing ended in 1977. Fully milled from forged carbon steel, it delivers the robust build quality collectors appreciate while remaining a compact, easily carried sidearm. Matching serial numbers on the slide, frame, and included magazine verify its factory originality, and the polished blued finish retains classic military appeal. Upgraded yellow/black carbon-fiber pattern grips with a textured rubber over-sleeve add modern control without altering the pistol’s historical character.

What’s Included
- Radom P-64 pistol with aftermarket yellow/black synthetic grip panels and rubber over-sleeve
- 1× 6-round factory steel magazine with matching serial number
Designed as the 9 mm pistolet wz. 1964, the P-64 combines a straight-blowback action with a DA/SA trigger, giving shooters a simple manual of arms and a controllable first-shot trigger pull. The compact 3.3-inch fixed barrel contributes to inherent accuracy by remaining immobile during firing.
The slide-mounted safety also functions as a decocker, safely lowering the exposed spur hammer while blocking the firing pin. A loaded-chamber indicator pin protrudes from the rear of the slide, providing both visual and tactile confirmation of a chambered round.
Rear vertical serrations on the polished blued slide offer solid purchase for charging, and the drift-adjustable rear notch pairs with a fixed front blade for a traditional sight picture. All major components—frame, slide, and barrel—are forged carbon steel for long-term durability.
At just over six inches long and weighing roughly 22 ounces unloaded, the P-64 fits into today’s compact carry niche while retaining Cold War-era pedigree. The Kevlar-pattern grips and rubber over-sleeve improve handling without adding bulk, making this late-production example both functional and collectible.
