- Ruger New Model Single-Six instruction manual
Lipsey's specified the KNR-4F with a 4.62-inch barrel, giving it quick handling while preserving useful sight radius. The stainless steel barrel, frame, cylinder, and receiver share a uniform brushed finish that resists corrosion and makes cleanup simple after long range sessions.
The included .22 LR cylinder is installed; swapping to the supplied .22 WMR cylinder is tool-free and takes only moments, thanks to Ruger’s removable base pin design. This convertible setup expands ammunition choices without needing a second revolver.
Rosewood-laminate grip panels with silver-eagle medallions give a secure hold and a touch of traditional style. Fixed sights—a blade front and integral square-notch rear—provide a snag-free profile ideal for field carry.
Ruger’s transfer-bar safety and loading-gate interlock allow safe carry with all six chambers loaded and add an extra margin of security while loading or unloading. The single-action trigger breaks cleanly, consistent with the New Model Single-Six lineage.
