What's Included
- Browning Superposed Grade I .410 Bore over/under shotgun
This Grade I retains the classic high-polish blued finish on its forged steel receiver, highlighted by factory-cut floral scroll engraving across the receiver, trigger guard, and top lever. The engraving remains crisp and evenly struck—signature work from Browning’s Liège craftsmen.
The 26.5-inch steel barrels feature a vent rib, a 3 inch chamber, and factory-fixed chokes—Improved Cylinder in the under barrel and Modified in the over barrel—clearly marked by Browning’s code stamps. These chokes give the lightweight .410 platform versatile pattern performance for upland birds or small-game targets.
A gold-plated single selective trigger pairs with a tang safety/selector, letting the shooter choose barrel order on the fly. The round-knob pistol-grip walnut stock retains its gloss varnish and sharp checkering, offering the classic Superposed feel with a 14 inch length of pull.
Belgian proofmarks, including the crowned E/LG* oval and Perron, confirm Liège origin and factory inspection. With regular Superposed production ending in 1976, this early-1970s .410 example represents one of the last runs made entirely in Belgium, enhancing its collectible appeal.
