Browning A-Bolt Medallion .223 Rem Bolt-Action Rifle, Factory Engraved, 22" Threaded Barrel
Made in 1994 by Miroku for Browning, this first-generation A-Bolt Medallion pairs factory scroll engraving with thoughtful custom touches. A gloss-finished laminated hardwood stock replaces the standard walnut, and a thread-on multi-port muzzle brake caps the 22-inch threaded barrel. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO / .223 Rem., the rifle retains the Medallion’s high-polish blued finish, gold Buck Mark inlay, and detachable box magazine hidden in an engraved floorplate. Its smooth three-lug bolt, 60° bolt lift, and adjustable single-stage trigger make it a refined yet practical choice for target work or varmint hunting.

The laminated hardwood stock offers a stable platform and distinctive grey-brown figure, finished in a durable high-gloss clear coat. Fine laser checkering and a Monte Carlo comb provide confident handling and a solid cheek weld.
A factory-threaded barrel allows installation of the included multi-port muzzle brake, reducing felt recoil and muzzle rise. Threads remain clean and sharp for easy brake removal or suppressor use.
The engraved steel receiver, floorplate, and trigger guard display Browning’s classic scrollwork, highlighted by a gold Buck Mark inlay on the guard bow. High-polish bluing complements the engraving and adds collector appeal.
Functionally, the rifle features Browning’s three-lug bolt with a short 60° lift for quick cycling, an adjustable single-stage trigger, and a top-tang two-position safety that is intuitive for both right- and left-handed shooters.
Manufactured in 1994, this transitional A-Bolt precedes the later A-Bolt II, giving it crossover interest for collectors tracking the model’s evolution.
