What’s Included
- J.C. Higgins Model 35 pump-action rifle
High Standard produced this Model 35 under Sears vendor code 583.3500, a marking that collectors use to confirm factory origin. The rifle keeps weight to roughly 5.5 pounds by pairing its blued steel barrel with a matte-black alloy receiver.
The action feeds from a 12-shot tubular magazine and includes a cross-bolt safety. Parts interchange with High Standard Sport King/Flite King P100 models, making service and spares straightforward.
A varnished hardwood pistol-grip stock, matching pump fore-end, and decorative star-V buttplate give the rifle signature J.C. Higgins styling. Traditional iron sights—a dovetailed steel blade front and buckhorn elevator rear—provide a familiar sight picture for small-game or target work.
