Rossi Model 13 Princess 3" .22 LR 7-Shot Nickel Revolver – Compact 1960s Brazilian Import
This Rossi Model 13 Princess offers a rare combination of light weight, 7-round capacity, and bright nickel finish in a compact .22 LR revolver. Produced in Brazil during the 1960s and imported to the U.S. for only a few years, it represents one of the smallest swing-out-cylinder rimfire revolvers of its era. An early transfer-bar safety, distinctive checkered grips with Rossi medallions, and the FIREARMS INT'L CORP stamping add collector appeal.

What’s Included
- Rossi Model 13 Princess revolver
Compact and lightweight, the Princess series was designed for easy carry without sacrificing shootability. The Zamak alloy frame keeps weight down, while a steel barrel liner and seven-shot steel cylinder handle regular .22 LR loads with confidence.
The 3-inch carbon-steel barrel balances the revolver, offering a longer sight radius than the 2-inch variants yet remaining pocket-friendly. Fixed sights consist of a half-ramp front blade and a square-notch rear milled into the top strap—simple, durable, and precisely regulated for standard-velocity ammunition.
Mechanically, the double-action/single-action lockwork is backed by an early transfer-bar safety, a forward-thinking feature in the 1960s that blocks the hammer from the firing pin unless the trigger is fully to the rear. A smooth trigger face and exposed hammer spur provide comfortable, controlled shooting in either mode.
Collectors appreciate the limited U.S. import window (1965–1969) and the FIREARMS INT'L CORP / WASHINGTON, D.C. roll mark. Combined with its bright nickel finish and period-correct checkered brown plastic grips, this Model 13 Princess stands out as a well-preserved example of Rossi’s mid-century pocket revolver design.
