Built around a 6061-T6 aluminum MDT chassis dressed in Flat Dark Earth polymer skins, the rifle provides a rigid bedding surface and tool-free adjustments for length of pull and cheek height. Spacer blocks and an integral rubber recoil pad let the shooter tailor fit from 13.5 to 14.5 inches.
The 22-inch heavy carbon-steel barrel uses a 1:8 twist to stabilize modern 6.5 Creedmoor projectiles and terminates in 5/8-24 threads with a knurled protector, allowing easy attachment of suppressors or brakes. A 20 MOA one-piece Picatinny rail is factory installed for extended elevation travel.
Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks cleanly between 2.5 and 6 lb, while an oversized cylindrical bolt knob speeds follow-up shots. The action feeds from reliable AICS-pattern magazines, and the supplied 10-round polymer MDT mag fits flush in the chassis.
The included Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x44 scope with Dead-Hold BDC reticle gives clear glass, repeatable turrets, and a versatile magnification range that matches the rifle’s precision-oriented intent.
