Ruger KP345PR .45 ACP Two-Tone DA/SA P-Series Pistol – 2005 Rail Model with Two 7-Rd Magazines
The KP345PR is the rail-equipped, stainless-slide variant of Ruger’s final P-Series design. Built in 2005, this full-size .45 ACP combines a slim grip profile, modern safety suite, and a two-tone stainless/black finish that set it apart from earlier P-Series pistols. Its limited nine-year production run and collector interest in the last P-Series generation make this example especially notable.

The KP345PR represents the culmination of Ruger’s P-Series evolution, adding a three-slot accessory rail, stainless slide, and enhanced safety package while retaining the robust P-Series action.
A satin-brushed stainless slide with matte top reduces glare, while the black glass-filled nylon frame keeps weight manageable and grip dimensions slim. The design accepts earlier P90/P97 magazines, offering parts compatibility for long-time Ruger owners.
Safety features are extensive: ambidextrous manual safety/decocker, pivoting loaded chamber indicator, magazine disconnect, and an internal keyed lock. Together they provide both visual and mechanical safeguards without complicating operation.
The 4.2-inch stainless barrel uses a 1:16 RH twist for reliable stability with standard .45 ACP loads. Fixed three-dot sights—dovetailed front and drift-adjustable rear—deliver a clear sight picture that stays snag-free in a holster.
Produced from 2004 to 2013, the KP345PR saw fewer units than earlier P-Series models. Collectors value its place as the last Ruger metal-slide .45 auto, especially in well-preserved examples like this 2005 pistol.
