This Medallion Grade features factory scroll engraving on the receiver, floorplate, and trigger guard, underscoring its position at the top of Browning’s 1960s sporting lineup. The controlled-round-feed action offers smooth cycling and reliable feeding from the 3-round internal magazine, while the jeweled bolt body adds both function and visual appeal.
The 22-inch sporter-weight barrel is chambered in .270 Winchester, a cartridge prized for flat trajectory and versatility in North American game hunting. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, reflecting minimal use.
A Monte Carlo walnut stock with skip-line checkering provides a comfortable cheek weld for scoped shooting. The stock also carries a gold-tone Browning medallion, sling-swivel studs, and a black rubber recoil pad to moderate felt recoil.
The rifle retains its original high-polish blued finish, complemented by Belgian proofmarks that confirm its Herstal, Belgium origin. A three-position safety allows the shooter to cycle the bolt while keeping the firing pin blocked, adding a layer of practical safety in the field.
