Sears Roebuck & Co Model 101.1120 .410 Bolt-Action Single-Shot Shotgun, 24" Barrel, 3" Chamber, IM Choke
Built for the Sears mail-order program of the 1960s and manufactured by Savage/Stevens on the Model 51 pattern, this Model 101.1120 is an uncommon bolt-action single-shot .410 bore. Its 24" carbon-steel barrel is proof-tested, hot-salt blued, and factory fitted with an improved-modified choke, giving the lightweight platform surprising versatility for small-game or pest control. Pre-1968 production means it was not required to carry a serial number, adding period authenticity that appeals to collectors of utility-grade American firearms.

What’s Included
- Sears Roebuck & Co Model 101.1120 .410 bolt-action shotgun
Unlike most modern .410s, this gun uses a bolt-action mechanism that cocks on opening and feeds a single shell directly into the chamber. The action is paired with a two-position thumb safety located conveniently behind the bolt handle.
The 24" barrel is chambered for both 2½" and 3" shells, expanding ammunition options. A fixed improved-modified choke balances pattern density and range, making the gun suitable for everything from farmstead varmints to casual clay targets.
The hardwood stock and smooth beavertail-style forend wear a walnut-hued finish that complements the blued metalwork. A 14.0" length of pull provides a full-size fit without feeling bulky.
With its U.S. origin, proof-tested markings, and bolt-action design, this Model 101.1120 represents a distinct chapter in Sears’ private-label firearm offerings—an affordable, serviceable gun that now stands out precisely because few like it are still in circulation.
