What’s Included
- Liège Trade 12 Gauge percussion side-by-side shotgun (serial no. 22267)
The 30-inch twist-steel barrels retain a browned finish that shows the classic spiral pattern associated with Belgian production. Wedge escutcheons secure the barrel set, a common feature on working guns of the era.
Both locks carry light scroll engraving that remains visible, adding visual interest without overwhelming the functional design. External dolphin-tail hammers and double triggers give the shooter independent control of each barrel.
Proofed with the crowned ELG oval, the shotgun dates to the period when Liège makers exported large numbers of affordable sporting arms worldwide. The visible 22267 marking on the barrel flats serves as the maker’s serial-style number.
The straight-grip walnut stock retains hand-cut checkering at the wrist. Length of pull measures approximately 13 inches to the front trigger and 14 inches to the rear, reflecting typical 19th-century dimensions.
