Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent – Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent – Sharp lands and grooves.

Designed for the German armed forces, the P8 A1 differs from a standard USP by reversing the safety/decocker orientation—an authenticity point valued by collectors and service-pistol enthusiasts. The external bobbed hammer and ambidextrous paddle magazine release keep manual controls intuitive for either hand.
The 4.25-inch barrel is cold-hammer-forged from steel, given a nitrided finish, and fitted with HK’s polymer O-ring to enhance lock-up consistency and accuracy. Traditional rifling supports all common 9 mm loads, while the mirror-bright bore shows no evidence of wear.
A nitro-carburized slide resists corrosion and wear, complementing the black, fiber-reinforced polymer frame. Fixed luminescent 3-dot steel sights provide a 6.22-inch sight radius for quick target acquisition in varied lighting.
The integral USP-pattern rail accepts weapon lights or lasers; the included GG&G adapter converts it to standard Picatinny spacing for broader accessory compatibility. Five military-spec translucent magazines round out a package that is both functional and collectible.
Limited civilian import began in 2020, and German manufacture is confirmed by the “DE” prefix and CIP “N” proof marks—adding provenance to an already desirable pistol.
