SIG Sauer 1911 Carry Scorpion .45 ACP — FDE PVD, Night Sights, Rail, 4.25 in Barrel
This discontinued 2012 first-generation 1911 Carry Scorpion pairs classic single-action mechanics with modern features. A Flat Dark Earth PVD finish covers its stainless-steel frame and slide, while SIGLITE tritium night sights, an integral Picatinny rail, and aggressively textured G10 grips make it ready for serious use. The Commander-length 4.25 in barrel and full-size grip offer a balanced “carry” profile that remains controllable in .45 ACP.

What’s Included
- SIG Sauer factory hard case (black polymer)
- SIG Sauer owner’s manual
- Two 8-round stainless steel SIG Sauer 1911 magazines
The Carry Scorpion’s 4.25 in barrel delivers Commander-length handling without sacrificing the full-size grip, aided by 25 LPI checkering on both the frontstrap and mainspring housing for a secure purchase.
Flat Dark Earth PVD coating on the stainless-steel frame and slide adds corrosion resistance and a cohesive appearance. Forward and rear cocking serrations, plus an external extractor, contribute to reliable manipulation.
SIGLITE tritium night sights give clear, low-light aiming capability straight from the factory. An ambidextrous thumb safety and extended beavertail grip safety support confident control for right- or left-handed shooters.
The aggressively textured two-tone G10 grip panels incorporate a black alloy mag-well funnel for faster reloads. A skeletonized aluminum trigger with over-travel screw and a skeletonized rowel hammer round out the 1911 performance features.
Because the original Scorpion series has been discontinued, this pistol offers collectors and shooters an opportunity to own a distinctive SIG Sauer 1911 configuration no longer in current production.
