The Hellcat was introduced in 2019 as one of the first micro-compact pistols to deliver double-digit capacity. This OSP version features a factory-milled slide that accepts micro red- or green-dot optics; the included Viridian RFX sight mounts directly to the slide for a low, co-witnessed profile.
A 3-inch, hammer-forged steel barrel treated with Melonite resists wear and corrosion while maintaining tight tolerances. The 1:10" right-hand twist stabilizes the full range of 9mm loads, and the dual-captured recoil spring on a full-length guide rod helps tame muzzle rise.
Forward, rear, and wrap-over slide serrations provide positive purchase from any angle, while the “Tactical Rack” U-notch rear sight allows emergency slide manipulation against a hard surface if the optic is removed. A tritium/luminescent front dot ensures visibility in low light.
The black polymer frame uses Springfield’s adaptive grip texture—smooth when holstered yet abrasive under pressure—to deliver control without snagging. A reversible magazine release supports left- or right-handed shooters, and an integral accessory rail accepts compact weapon lights or lasers.
