Serial number 4232XXX falls within the final National Postal Meter production block, adding collector appeal because the company was one of the least prolific prime contractors. An IBM-marked barrel and Saginaw SG recoil plate highlight the parts-pool interchangeability typical of World War II assembly lines, while the rifle retains its correct parkerized finish and hardwood furniture.
