Product Description

    Remington Model 121 Fieldmaster A Standard Grade .22 Pump-Action Rifle, 24" Barrel, 12+1 Capacity

Remington’s Model 121 Fieldmaster is a classic American pump-action rimfire built from 1936 to 1954, and this A Standard Grade example retains the features collectors look for—solid walnut furniture, deep blued steel, and matching barrel-receiver markings. The 24-inch barrel and 12-round tubular magazine let it cycle .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle interchangeably, while a quick-takedown coin-slot screw makes field stripping fast. Installed tip-off scope bases and intact open sights give shooters multiple sighting options without altering the original lines.

    Condition

Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good – Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.

Specific Condition Notes: The walnut stock and fore-end display scattered scratches and blemishes consistent with normal field use. Metal surfaces show light handling wear but retain uniform blue finish.

    What’s Included

    • Two-piece 3/8" tip-off scope bases (installed)

The Model 121’s pump-action mechanism feeds smoothly from a 12-round under-barrel tube, giving it the reliability that made Remington rimfire pumps a staple on farms and in small-game camps for decades.

A patented bolt-lock and cross-bolt safety, covered by Remington patents filed between 1924 and 1928, add mechanical security without complicating operation. The hammerless design keeps the receiver slim and snag-free.

Walnut furniture—with a rib-grooved slide handle and 13.6-inch length of pull—pairs with the blued steel receiver and barrel for a timeless field grade look. Proof and date code stamps on the barrel shank remain sharp, underscoring the rifle’s originality.

Factory open sights consist of a dovetailed front blade and drift-adjustable rear. The grooved receiver carries the included tip-off bases, so mounting a rimfire optic requires no drilling.
