Built in the 1980s, this Iver Johnson M1 Carbine combines classic U.S. military styling with commercial manufacturing refinements. A limited AA-prefix serial block of under 10,000 units adds mild collector interest, while its cast-steel receiver and bolt remain fully interchangeable with USGI parts. The ventilated steel hand-guard—unique to Iver Johnson—helps dissipate heat during extended firing, and the rifle retains the familiar low-wood stock, Type II adjustable rear sight, and compatible GI-pattern components.
