Century Arms C39V2 7.62x39 Milled AK Semi-Auto Rifle, 16.5" Threaded Barrel, Black Nitride Finish
The Century Arms C39V2 stands out as one of the first fully U.S.-produced, milled-receiver AK rifles offered at scale. Built around a solid-block 4140 ordnance-steel receiver and a 4150 chrome-moly, black-nitride barrel, it delivers the heft and durability collectors expect from a milled AK while keeping parts compatibility with standard AKM magazines and furniture. This example is in excellent shape, features a factory-installed side-mount optics rail with improved return-to-zero, and ships with four magazines to get you on the range right away.

The C39V2 uses a long-stroke gas piston action and a RAK-1 enhanced single-stage trigger, giving shooters a familiar AK feel with a smoother, crisper break. The milled receiver adds rigidity, aiding accuracy and recoil management, while the bolt-hold-open notch in the safety lever speeds reloads and chamber checks.
Its 16.5-inch 4150 chrome-moly barrel is black-nitride treated inside and out for corrosion resistance and is threaded 14×1 LH, ready for AK-pattern muzzle devices. A 1:10 RH twist stabilizes the full range of 7.62×39 projectiles.
Oil-finished hardwood furniture—fixed stock, ventilated handguard, and matching pistol grip—retains the classic AK aesthetic. The adjustable hooded post front sight and tangent-leaf rear sight provide a rugged, proven sighting system, while the proprietary side rail lets you add an optic without losing zero when removed.
Because the C39V2 is now discontinued, clean examples like this U.S.-made rifle are increasingly scarce, especially with matching serial numbers and minimal wear.
