Colt LE6920 5.56 NATO Semi-Auto Rifle – 16" Chrome-Lined Barrel, M4 Carbine Roll Mark
The Colt LE6920 is widely regarded as one of the closest civilian-legal interpretations of the U.S. military’s M4 Carbine. This mid-2010s Colt Defense production rifle combines a 4150 CMV chrome-lined barrel with a forged 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set, all built to the original Colt Technical Data Package. A government-profile barrel with M203 step-cut, HP/MPI-tested bolt, and Rogers Super-Stoc give this rifle the rugged pedigree collectors and serious shooters expect.

What’s Included
- Colt LE6920 rifle
- 2 × 20-round aluminum USGI-style magazines
- Colt AR-15/M4 safety & instruction manual
Colt machines the upper and lower receivers from forged 7075-T6 aluminum and finishes them with hard-coat anodizing for long-term durability. The left side of the lower is roll-marked “M4 CARBINE,” a detail prized by Colt enthusiasts.
The 16-inch government-profile barrel is cut from 4150 CMV steel, chrome-lined for corrosion resistance, and given a 1:7 right-hand twist to stabilize the full range of 5.56 NATO projectiles. The M203 step-cut remains intact, staying true to the original military specification.
A detachable carry handle houses an A2 rear aperture, pairing with the fixed A2 front post for dependable iron-sight accuracy. Removing the carry handle exposes a flat-top Picatinny rail for mounting alternate sighting systems if desired.
Furniture consists of two-piece ribbed polymer M4 handguards, an A2 checkered pistol grip, and the Rogers Super-Stoc. The stock’s six-position telescoping design and QD sling socket make it easy to tailor length of pull—rated at 10.5 inches at its shortest setting—to individual shooters and mission requirements.
Internally, the rifle uses Colt’s direct-impingement gas system and an HP/MPI-inspected bolt for consistent reliability. A manual safety selector rounds out the controls.
