Browning B-S/S Field Grade 12 Gauge Side-by-Side, 26-Inch Barrels, Double Triggers, Pre-1976 Miroku Production
Built in the early 1970s by Miroku in Japan, this Browning B-S/S Field Grade showcases classic Browning quality with light scroll engraving, chrome-moly “Special Steel” barrels, and the less common double-trigger setup. Its 26-inch barrels with fixed chokes and 2 ¾-inch chambers make it a quick-handling field gun, while hand-cut checkering on the Grade I walnut stock delivers secure purchase and traditional style. Collectors will note the early “A37” serial format, marking it as part of the first production wave before 1976.

The B-S/S Field Grade marries traditional construction with Browning’s signature fit and finish. The blued steel receiver carries tasteful scroll and rosette engraving that continues onto the trigger guard and top lever, adding understated elegance without sacrificing utility.
Its 26-inch chrome-moly barrels are marked “Special Steel” and feature a solid matted rib topped by a single brass bead for a clear sight picture. Fixed chokes give reliable pattern performance for upland hunting or clays.
The shotgun’s double-trigger arrangement allows instant choke selection, a feature prized by many wingshooters and increasingly uncommon on later B-S/S models that shifted to single triggers.
