What’s Included
- Beretta S687 Field Grade 12 GA over/under shotgun
Built on Beretta’s proven 680-series action, the S687 uses conical locking lugs and replaceable hinge discs for long service life while keeping the receiver profile low for a naturally pointing gun. The nickel-alloy receiver wears a coin finish that resists corrosion and eliminates blue wear, and it comes from the factory with floral scroll and birds-in-flight engraving.
The 28" monobloc barrels are cut from chrome-moly steel, feature a ventilated rib with a single white bead, and are fixed at Improved Cylinder. Chambers accept both 2 3/4" and 3" shells, giving flexibility for target loads or heavier upland game cartridges.
Oil-finished walnut furniture offers a checkered pistol grip and a beavertail/Schnabel forend, providing secure purchase and traditional style. Length of pull measures 14.6". The gold-toned single selective trigger is mechanical, while the manual top-tang safety doubles as a barrel selector for fast, intuitive operation.
Marked with Italian proof stamps and a Beretta U.S.A. import mark, this shotgun predates the Silver Pigeon branding yet shares the same respected engineering. Its lighter muzzle weight, thanks to the fixed choke setup, makes it especially quick to mount for fast-flushing birds.
